Summary | 0004966: DHTML filters do not load if another filter is clicked simultaneously
Description | Using 0004315 and "$g_dhtml_filters = ON", clicking filter links in quick succession (while they still show the text "Loading...") prevents both filters from displaying. This issue becomes worse on slower connections as you don't have to click so fast to cause problems.

I think that this is really cosmetic. If you click the second filter clicked executes properly. The first is left with the "Loading..." message. The link above the first is still active and can be clicked to provide the proper values. |
|
That does happen sometimes, but the effect I am talking about is worse. Neither of the fields load and neither can be loaded without refreshing the page. The page should create a queue of connections or create a new connection for each click. |
|
A similar (rather cosmetic) thing happens, if you click on a dhtml-filter-link while the view_all_bug_page is still loading, which can easily happen as rebuilding the page may take a while: Not one DHTML filter, but the view_filters_page is loaded. (Mozilla 1.7.5, CVS 2005-05-12) |

the dhtml_filters config was marked as obsolte, as we moved away from the original method of generating the filters - so this no longer applies |
