The actual version of PostgreSQL script is outdated. So I decided to update it. I noticed that the issue 0004871 talks about it but my script is more up to date and strip some MySQLism from the PostgreSQL script.
I dropped the mantis_upgrade_table data because the upgrade tool seems not to work with PostgreSQL. I'll send a fix to this ASAP.
I also attached a one-line-change to config_inc.php.sample to make life of other database users easy.
I have marked this as a duplicate of a newer issue, since the newer one has a more up-to-date port of the pgsql and it also has the upgrade table. I also included the change to the config_inc sample.
Please take the time to review the other script and give feedback as part of a new issue.
